Areas we cover
We collect pianos from Chester city and across the Cheshire postcodes, hold them in a climate-controlled facility on full insurance, and re-deliver when you are ready.
Book storageCity and county
Cheshire holds a great many pianos. The county's family homes, farmhouses and larger village properties have collected instruments across generations, and when a house sale, renovation or a period away comes along, the piano is often the thing nobody quite knows what to do with next. We take care of it.
Chester itself is a compact historic city where older terraced houses and Georgian streets make moving a large instrument challenging, while the county stretches out through Knutsford, Tarporley, Nantwich and the rural parishes beyond. Our crews cover all of it on Tuesdays.

Collection day
Our Chester and Cheshire route runs on Tuesdays. We confirm a three-hour target window the day before so someone at the property does not have to block out the whole morning. If a Tuesday genuinely cannot work, an off-day collection is available at an added charge.
If the piano sits on an upper floor of a Chester terrace or up a steep staircase in a Cheshire farmhouse, the stair access charge is shown clearly during online booking. You see the full figure before you confirm anything.
Why specialist storage
Many Cheshire homes are old. Stone farmhouses, Victorian terraces in Chester and large detached houses in the leafy commuter villages all share one thing: heating and humidity that swings with the seasons. A piano left in an unheated spare room over winter, or in a conservatory that overheats in summer, drifts out of tune and eventually suffers structural damage.
Our facility holds temperature and humidity steady throughout the year, which is what a piano actually needs to stay in good condition. Full insurance runs from the moment we collect to the day we re-deliver, and the building is monitored around the clock.
What we store
From a Victorian upright in a Chester terrace to a baby grand in a Cheshire country house, we store pianos of every size, along with digital keyboards and music equipment.
Pricing for Chester and Cheshire
