Areas we cover
We collect pianos from Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stafford, Leek and across the ST postcode area on Tuesdays, hold them in climate-controlled storage with full insurance, and return them when you are ready.
Book storageThe Potteries and beyond
Stoke-on-Trent is built from six towns, and every one of them has pianos that need somewhere safe at some point. Victorian and Edwardian terraces across Hanley, Burslem, Fenton, Longton, Tunstall and Stoke itself are being renovated, downsized from and passed through estates constantly. An executor sorting a relative's home in Meir or Northwood, a family clearing a three-bedroom terrace for sale, or a parent who has no room for the piano in a new house all arrive at the same need: proper storage, collected by people who know what they are doing.
The ST postcode area reaches far beyond the Potteries. Keele University and Newcastle-under-Lyme bring students and academic families who need semester-long storage. Stafford, Stone and Uttoxeter add a county-wide catchment of families, schools and musicians, and the Staffordshire Moorlands around Leek has its own quiet stream of people with large houses and instruments that no longer fit their current situation. A working musician away for a long run of shows, or a school bursar with an instrument that needs to leave the building during renovation work, finds the Tuesday collection works for them just as well.

Collection day
We collect in and around Stoke-on-Trent every Tuesday. Running one dedicated day per postcode area keeps the route consistent and the cost fair. We confirm a three-hour target window the day before so you are not tied to the house all morning. If a Tuesday genuinely will not work, an off-day collection can be arranged for an added charge.
The Tuesday run covers the full ST area: all six Potteries towns, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Kidsgrove, Stone and Eccleshall, Stafford and its surrounding villages, Leek and the Staffordshire Moorlands, Uttoxeter, Cheadle and Blythe Bridge. Enter your postcode in the booking form and it will confirm your day automatically.
Stoke-on-Trent terraces often have steep internal staircases, and stairs are priced clearly in the online booking before you confirm anything. Our specialist piano crews handle them regularly, and there will be no surprises on the day.
Old housing, real risk
Much of Stoke-on-Trent's housing stock was built for the pottery trade in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. The houses are solid and characterful, but they are not kind to a piano left in an unheated room over winter or through a long renovation. Damp works into older brickwork and plaster. Soundboards swell and crack, tuning drifts badly, action felt absorbs enough moisture to make the touch feel sluggish, and the cabinet can split when the heating comes back on hard.
Our facility holds a steady temperature and relative humidity through every season, so the instrument comes back the way it went in. The protection is exactly the same whether the piano is with us for eight weeks while a renovation finishes or two years while an estate is being settled. It is fully insured from the moment our crew collects it, through every day in storage, to the moment we deliver it back.
Area coverage
The Tuesday run covers the entire ST postcode area. In Stoke-on-Trent itself that means all six towns: Hanley, Burslem, Tunstall, Fenton, Longton and Stoke, plus Trentham, Meir, Bentilee, Penkhull and Blurton. We also collect from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Kidsgrove and Alsager, and from Keele and the villages out toward Crewe.
North Staffordshire beyond the Potteries conurbation is on the same route: Leek and the Moorlands villages, Cheadle and Blythe Bridge, Uttoxeter and the Staffordshire countryside east toward Derbyshire, and south through Stone, Eccleshall and the Stafford area.
What we take in
We store upright pianos, baby grands, grands and concert grands. Digital and stage pianos and keyboards travel in the same booking. Piano stools, sustain pedal boards and boxed sheet music can come with the instrument. If you have an unusual access situation or a piano you would like to talk through before booking, contact us and we will confirm what is needed.
Pricing for Stoke-on-Trent
Prices include collection, climate-controlled storage and full insurance. Stairs without a lift and off-day collections are priced transparently in the booking. Re-delivery is quoted when you are ready for the piano back.
